The Dunes collection is exclusively handwoven for us by artisans in a remote region of Colombia and is entirely sustainable. When plantains are harvested, instead of disposing of the tree, farmers shave off the bark in order to make the material for this basket. The strong fibre is also left undyed, which reduces waste even further. The basket is then woven together using Iraca fibre creating an intricate pattern and making a naturally beautiful design.
